x/5+2=x/2+7
(x+10)/5=(x+14)/2                                                            (taking the LCM)
2(x+10)=5(x+14)                                                              (cross multiplication)
2x+20=5x+70
20-70=5x-2x                                                                      (bringing like terms together)
-50=3x
x=-50/3

 \frac{x}{5} +2 =  \frac{x}{2} + 7
 \frac{x+10}{5} =  \frac{x+14}{2}
By cross multiplication-
2(x+10) = 5(x+14)
2x - 5x = 70 - 20
-3x = 50
x =  \frac{-50}{3}
