If the resistors connected = r1, r2...
1/r = 1/r1 + 1/r2 +....
Derivation:
I = I1 + I 2 + I3+ ...
V/ r = V / r1 + V/r2 + ...
Since V is same in all parallel circuits
So by cancelling V on both sides
1/r = 1/r1 + 1/r2...
1/r = 1/r1 + 1/r2 +....
Derivation:
I = I1 + I 2 + I3+ ...
V/ r = V / r1 + V/r2 + ...
Since V is same in all parallel circuits
So by cancelling V on both sides
1/r = 1/r1 + 1/r2...
