Three resistors each of resistance 1 ohm are connected in parallel with each other

Equivalent resistance is given by the formula

 \implies{ \frac{1}{Rp}  =  \frac{1}{R}  +  \frac{1}{R}  +  \frac{1}{R} }

 \implies{\frac{1}{Rp}  =  \frac{3}{R}  }

here ,

R = 1 ohm

 \implies{Rp =  \frac{1}{3}   \Omega}

Three resistors each of resistance 2 ohm are connected in parallel with each other

Equivalent resistance is given by the formula

 \implies{Rp =  \frac{R}{3}  }

 \implies{Rp =  \frac{2}{3}   \Omega}

Three resistors R 1 , R 2 ,R 3 each of resistance 1/3 , 2/3 and 3 ohm respectively are connected in series

 \implies{Rs = R 1+ R 2+ R3}

 \implies{Rs =  \frac{1}{3} +  \frac{2}{3} + 3}

 \boxed{Rs = 4\Omega}

Answer:4

Explanation:The first three 1ohm resistors are in parallel. So their equivalent resistance is 1/1+1/1+1/1=1/r1

r1=1/3

The last three 2ohm resistors are also in parallel. So their equivalent resistance is 1/2+1/2+1/2=1/r2

r2=2/3

Finally r1 ,3ohm ,r2 are in series

So the equivalent resistance is req=r1+3+r2

Req=4
