MOST OF THE SINHALA SPEAKING PEOPLE ARE BUDDHIST, WHILE MOST OF THE TAMILS ARE HINDUS OR MUSLIMS. THERE ARE ABOUT 7% CHRISTIANS, WHO ARE BOTH TAMIL AND SINHALA.
