MS-Paint or Microsoft Paint is the application that allows editing and creating image files. The image files can be of various formats like JPEG, GIF, PNG, JPG, BMP (24-bit, 256 color, 16 color and monochrome), etc. Hence, MS-paint allows saving image files with any of these extensions. The animation of GIF file is not considered by MS – paint, thus one cannot save or create GIF images with MS – paint though they can still save the image with .gif extension.
