What is cyclone ?
It is is large scale of a moving spirally around a centre of low atmospheric pressure.
What is the eye of the cyclone ?
The eye of the cyclone is is the centre most part of a cyclone which is strong and has low atmospheric pressure than the outside part of the cyclone.
Explain the formation of a cyclone.
A cyclone forms in this way:
- When the warm and moist air above the ocean surface rises upwards due to its heaviness.
- It leaves less pressure above the surface of the ocean.
- The air around the lower atmospheric pressure captures that area because of high atmospheric pressure around the the lower atmospheric pressure surface.
- Slowly, the air which is cool becomes moist and warm again and rises upwards.
- This process continuous.
- The warm and moist air above forms clouds.
- These clouds and air starts rotating and eventually grows.
- As it starts forming a bigger storm, an eye is developed in the middle of the storm which is of low atmospheric pressure and is calm than the other part of the storm.
- This is how a cyclone is formed.
