What is the fact that the upper surface of a leaf is usually greener than the lower surface .

THIS IS BECAUSE THE UPPER SURFACE OF THE LEAF CONTAINS MORE STOMATA THAN THE LOWER SURFACE.....

Upper surface of leaf is more greener then the lower one because leaf takes part in photosynthesis and the upper surface is directly exposed to sunlight and so it contains more photosynthetic pigment than the lower surface and that is the reason upper surface is more greener
