a ) 4(4x² + 8x )

b) 4x(2x + 3 )

c) 8x(x + 4 )

d) 8x(x² + 4 )

Solution :

Factored form of 8x² + 12x

= 4 ×2x² + 4× 3x

= 4x(2x + 3 )

Option ( b ) is correct.

the equation would be 8x^2 + 12x 
Well you would have to pull out the gcf which in this case will be 4x after pulling out the gcf you should get 4x(2x + 3).
