The two boys were related to a family which consisted of their mother father and sister who had died during the world war and only their sister was left suffering from tuberculosis of spinal cord. The two boys were working with so much determination and were doing enough work to their sister and it made the author to create a doubt that after doinfg so much of work they would have earned a lot of money but it didn't seemed that they were spending their money anywhere.
