Three end products of photosynthesis are:-
(i) Glucose
Fate:- It is used in for different ways:
- immediately consumed by the plant cells
- stored in the form of insoluble starch
- converted into sucrose
- used in synthesising fats, proteins, etc.
(ii) Water
Fate:- It may be re-utilised in the continuance of photosynthesis.
(iii) Oxygen
Fate:- Some of it may be used in the lead cells, but most of it is released into the atmosphere which all living organisms require it for their existence.
