Prince Siddhartha , was born to the family of Shakya clan in Northern Indin city state called ‘Kapila Wastu’ in 563 BCE. His actual birth place is ‘Lumbini’ modern day Nepal. His father was the ruler of Shakya clan ‘King Suddhodhana’ and his mom was Queen ‘Maha- Maya’. His mother passed away after 7 days of Prince’s birth and Queen ‘Maha- Prajapathee’ became his foster mom who took care on him since then.
