what is the feeling discribed in the poem "green snake."

The green snake was under the grass. It wasn't a harmful snake. The poet saw it and was very scared. As he was already scared by the name of the snake, the ran away! Then his father came and killed the snake. The poet wasn't happy by seeing the dead body of the snake.
