what is the force of gravitation on a body of mass 150 kg lying on surface of the earth (mass of earth 6 x 10^24 kg, radius of the earth= 6.4 x 10^6 m, G= 6.7 * 10^ -11 Nm^2 kg^-2. Please explain it​

Explanation:

The mass of a spherical body can be supposed to

concentrated in its centre.

The acceleration due to the gravity on the surface

of the earth is g = G • Mm/ a^2

Putting the values of G , M m and r the radius of the

earth we may get g = 9•81 metre/second^2

So the force F = mg = 150×10 = 1500 N approx.
