my friend we don't have a specific formula for finding displacement but wheras we have some cases in which we can find
1) if they ask for or if they give two distances and if they ask for the shortest distance you can use Pythagoras Theorem if it is in the form of right angle
2) or if they give you the velocity and the time taken to reach some destination you can find the displacement as,
displacement = velocity *time taken
