When sphere is flat, its diameter could be considered as the height.its formula is same as that of the circle.

It is equal to : 2×root(Area/pi)

Derived from area =pi × r²

karanmanhotra47: Not geeting u....okkk volume of sphere=area*h =4/3πr3
karanmanhotra47: If we multipy area andht of sphere it will give us volume of sphere rt /wrg
vishagh: Instead of r u must substitute r=h/2.
vishagh: Then get the value for h
vishagh: For convinience u can take the area of circle also as the answer wont change

the height of a hemisphere is its radius. The volume of a sphere is 4/3 π r3. So the volume of a hemisphere is half of that: V = (2 / 3) π r3.
