Mean of Grouped Data =

1. Assumed Mean + Sigma fi x di / Sigma fi.

2. Assumed Mean + Sigma fi x ui/ sigma fi x h

Note : Grouped Data is inclusive of class interval. Ungrouped data is when the numbers are given individually. Hope this is clarified.

A - Assumed Mean,

Di = xi - A

ui = xi - A / h
