when one angle of a triangle is 90° then square of opposite side i.e hypotenuse is equal to the sum of square of remaining to sides

Pythagoras theorem States that the sum of squares of perpendicular and base of a right angled triangle is equal to the square of its hypotenuse.

If ABC is a right angle triangle where /_ ABC is 90° then acc. to Pythagoras it will be

AC^2=AB^2+BC^2
