It is,

(Hypotenuse)^2=(base)^2+(Side)^2

it means that the square of Hypotenuse will be equal to the sum of squares of base and remaining side.

Ex-  (5)^2=(3)^2+(4)^2
         25=9+16
        25=25

HI MATE

It is the triangle with one of its angles as a right angle, that is, 90 degrees. The side that is opposite to the 90-degree angle is known as the hypotenuse.

...

a theorem attributed to Pythagoras that the square on the hypotenuse of a right-angled triangle is equal in area to the sum of the squares on the other two sides.

FORMULA

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

a & b = side of right triangle

c = hypotenuse

i hope it helpfull to you..
