 \tan^{2} = \frac{ { \sin}^{2} }{ { \cos }^{2} } \\

tan=√sin^2/cos^2

sec^2∅-1=tan^2∅

1/cos^∅-1=tan^2∅

tan^2∅=(1-cos^2∅)/cos^2∅

tan∅=√(1-cos^2∅)/cos^2∅.

Hey buddy.....!! here is ur answer,

tanA = √sec²A–1

=> tanA = √(1/cos²A)–1

=> tanA = √(1–cos²A)/cos²A

=> tanA = (√1–cos²A)/cosA

I hope it will be helpful for you..!!
