Heron's Formula for calculating area of a triangle with sides, a, b , and c is:

Let the semi-perimeter be s.

 s = \frac{a+b+c}{2} \\ \\ \\ Area\ A = \sqrt{s\ (s-a)\ (s - b)\ (s - c)} \\ \\

This is the commonly known Heron's formula. There may be other forms of it.
