Hope u like my answer
======================
Total surface area (T. S. A) of cylinder

= Curved surface Area + 2× Area of Base

_________________________

=> Curved surface Area (C. S. A)
= 2\pi r \times h = \bf \: 2\pi rh

=> Area of Base (A. B.) =\pi {r}^{2} = \bf \: \pi {r}^{2}

____________________

=> Total surface Area (T. S. A)

= (C. S. A.) + 2× (A. B.)

 = 2\pi rh \: + \: 2\pi {r}^{2} \\ \\ = \bf \underline{ \: 2\pi r(r + h) \: } \: \: unit ^{2}
