Question

★★what is the formula or how to calculate which day on this day★★

✔✔for example which day on the date 18/9/2005✔✔

Answer

Given , 18/09/2005

\leq Step :- 1\geq

  • Have a look at the given year What do you think is it leap year or non-leap year
  • Let us find take last 2 digit of the year 2005
  • " 05 " Divide it by 4 is it divisible { NO }
  • That means 2005 not a leap year
  • Hence , leap year = 0

✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴

\leq Step :-2\geq

  • Now , let us look at century
  • Century is 2000
  • Here we have some codes for Centuries
  • The codes  are as follow :-

=>  \left[\begin{array}{ccc}1600&&6\\1700&&4\\1800&&2\end{array}\right]  \left[\begin{array}{ccc}1900&&0\\2000&&6\end{array}\right]

  • According to that code we have to put  6 in place of  2000 Century

✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴

\leq Step :- 3 \geq

  • Now , let us focus about months ; There are 12 months in a year
  • Given , month = 09 (  i.e.  September  )
  • Also , for months there are some codes as follow :-

 \left[\begin{array}{ccc}Jan&&1\\Feb&&4\\March&&4\end{array}\right] \left[\begin{array}{ccc}April&&0\\May&&2\\June&&5\end{array}\right]

\left[\begin{array}{ccc}July&&0\\Aug&&3\\Sept&&6\end{array}\right]  \left[\begin{array}{ccc}Oct.&&1\\Nov.&&4\\Dec&&6\end{array}\right]

Hence , we have to put 6 in place of sept. month

✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴

\leq step:- 4\geq

  • Well , we have one formula to find the day
  • The formula of calculating Day as Below :-

===> \frac{Date+Month+Century+year+Leap year }{7}

===> \frac{18+6+6+05+0}{7}

===> \frac{35}{7}

===> 0 = Remainder

The 0 Day of the week was Sunday

✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴✴

✔✔ Hence ,  On 18 Sept. 2005 the day was Sunday   ✔✔
