Size of Class Interval = Range / Number of class
If you have 15 classes of income in the distribution of income example, work out 30 ÷ 15 = 2 .
Class intervals (lengths) should be equal. Intervals such as 0.15, 0.25, 0.55, 1.5, 2.5 and 5, 10, 20, 50, etc are desirable as your wish. For example, in the class 15 - 20, the starting point, 15, is divisible by the interval, 5.
