C.P.C.B = The central pollution control board
it is a statutory organisation which which was constituted in September 1974 under the water track. it was also entrusted with the powers and functions under the air act ,1981. the cpcb is laid by its chairman who is nominated by the central government. as of may 2018 Shri SP Singh parihar is the chairman of the cpcb.
