The full form of “CNG” stands for “Compressed Natural Gas” which is nothing but an alternative for other petro-chemicals like petrol, diesel, etc. It is actually methane (CH4) gas that is compressed under high pressure.

These are highly economical in comparison to other derivatives of petro-chemicals and it only emits lesser amount of impurities to the atmosphere after being used up by any motor vehicle.  

They are priced less than other fossil fuels. Other main feature is that it can be prepared in a lab as well as in an industry which means it can be derived for long terms whereas fossil fuel will end up in another 50 years.
