Hindalco, initially known as Hindustan Aluminum Corporation, is an aluminum and copper fabricating organization headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra India. Hindalco is a subsidiary of the Aditya Birla Group.
It was built up in 1958 by Aditya Birla Group. In 1962 the organization started creation in Renukoot Uttar Pradesh making 20 thousand metric tons for each time of aluminum metal and 40 thousand metric tons for each time of alumina. In 1989 the organization was rebuilt and renamed Hindalco.
The central station are in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is the Flagship organization in the metal business.
