"TRF" is a short form used to denote the term ‘TRANSFER‘. It's a transfer from one account to another account of same bank. In the bank statements itself we can find the term TRF which normally used to denote that the amount credited or debited to your account is due to the transfer of amount done by another account of same bank. In certain cases, transfer of amount done by or done to a third party can also be denoted by the term TRF.

In short, it normally denotes the transfer entry done in your account by you. For example, fund transfer to another account of same bank or it also denotes the transfer entry made by the system in lieu of any fees or charges levied to your account.
