What is the funciton of bone, cartilage and ligament

Ligaments are strong, flexible bands which hold bones firmly together at the joints.
Cartilage in adults provide a strong, flexible support between bones and wherever great strength and degree of rigidity is needed.

1.Bone supports and protects various organs of the body and helps in movement.
2.Cartilage is soft cushion like substance covering the end of the bone. It acts as shock absorber and helps in reducing the friction between the bones.
3.There are strong bands which connect bone to bone at the joint,these are called ligaments.
