What is the function of a cell membrane?


durv4: it protects the cell from the outside nutrients. It also known as plasma membrane

cell membrane is semipermeable in function . it allows only selected particles to go through it .
it also functions as a membrane as it separates cell organelles from surrounding . it also give shape to cell . it helps in maintainence of cell .

Cell Membrane is also known as Plasma Membrane. It is a fluid like substance which help to transfer material outside the cell to inside and material of inside to outside. It is also known as Selectively Permeable Membrane because it allow the entry of only some materials inside the cell.
