Answer:

The main function of a human heart is used pump blood and keep us alive.

Circulation of blood

  • Deoxygenated blood enters the right atrium of the heart by Superior vena cava( takes blood from upper half of the body) and Inferior Vena cava ( takes blood from the lower half of the body)
  • After entering the right atrium the tricuspid valve opens and goes to right ventricle
  • From the right Ventricle it goes to the lungs for oxygenation through the Pulmonary artery
  • After oxygenation the oxygenated blood enters to the left atrium through the Pulmonary vein
  • The bicuspid valve opens and the blood enters the left ventricle

After that it enters the Aorta and from aorta the blood is transported to the parts of our body with the help of Arteries( oxygenated blood to body parts)and veins ( deoxygenated blood from body parts)

This whole circulation takes within 45 seconds in a body.

Hope this whole information will help you a lot and even me for a short revision
