hello mate!
the acid that is present in the stomach is HCL(hydrochloric acid). HCL activates the inactive form of the two protein digesting enzymes that are pepsinogen and prorenin present in stomach and converts them into pepsin and renin so that they can digest proteins and convert them into amino acides.

The acid present in the stomach helps in better digestion of food and also kills some harmful bacteria
some of the secretion of stomach are pepsin and trypsin and pepsin is converted into pepsinogen by HCL and trypsin to enterokinase.
