REFLEX ACTION:

It is the instant action (quick response)of brain towards the situation. so the brain to record this event and remember it for future use.

FUNCTIONING :

~Reflex arcs are formed in the spinal cord, although the information inputs also reach the brain.

~thinking doesn't involves in it because spinal cord is the part through which reflex action occurs. There is no role of the brain in it.

EXAMPLE:

The act of removing the hand away on touching a hot plate is a reflex action, done without any thought given to it.
