centrosome has two centrioles arranged perpendicular to each other. it is these centrioles  that form the much important spindle fibres and microtubules used during cell division .

The main function of a Centrosome is to organise Microtubules and provide structure for the cell. It also serves to keep the Chromatids apart, during cell division.

Centrosomes are found only in animal cells. They are paired organelles which are normally located near the cell nucleus and made up of two Centrioles, which are Microtubule rings.
