The cerebellum receives information from sensory organs and then helps in regulation of motor movements..It helps to coordinate physical movements like posture,speech and smooth muscular activity

Cerebellum is located before the cerebrum and above medulla oblongata. It consists of two large cerebellar hemispheres.

Functions of cerebellum:

1) Maintains posture, equilibrium and muscle tone.

2) Coordinates voluntary movements initiated by cerebrum.
