Chromosome is present as a part of chromatin material. When the cell is ready to devide the chromatin gets organized to form chromosomes. These chromosomes play an important role in cellular reproduction. It is due to chromosomes that the cell gets characterstics from the parent plant. It is responsible for the charaacters of the parent cell to the smaller cell
