FUNCTIONS OF CPU (central processing unit) are -:

  • The CPU supports data processing by performing the functions of fetch, decode and execute on programmed instructions.
  • it calculates, sends signals to other components and runs software.
  • A computer can't work without a CPU. It sends the video signal(if there is an integrated gpu chip in it) to your monitor, it manages your system together with your RAM, GPU and other components.
