There are 3 main types of digestive enzymes: "Proteases, Lipases, and Amylases".

  2. Lipases break down lipids into three molecules of "fatty acids and glycerol".
  3. Amylases break down carbohydrates like starch into simple sugar.
  • The food after being taken it reaches digestive system and this food is broken down into simple absorbable forms.
  • These simpler forms of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and vitamins are transported across small intestine and into bloodstream where they gives energy for growth and repair of cells.
