What is the function of endocrine system? What is it made up of?

Endocrine system :--

The control and co - ordination is carried out by the nervous system and endocrine system which is also known as neuro - endocrine system.

The endocrine glands are special type of glands. These are the glands of internal secretion and release their serrations directly into blood.

Endocrine system is carried out by some special hormones. They are carried by the blood stream to influence the functioning of specific target organs.

●pituitary gland

●Thyroid stimulating Hormone or TSH.

●Aderneo cortico Tropic Harmone ACTH.

●LTH Hormone.

●GTH hormone

●FSH hormone

●LH or luetininzing hormone.

●ADH or Anti Diuretic Hormone

●Oxytocin

●Coherin.

Thyroid gland secrets T3 and T4 or thyroxine and calcitonin.

T3 and T4 are metabolic hormones controlling BMR and calcitonin controls calcium level of blood.
