Fire exruinguisher helps in extinguishing i.e. stopping the fire . There are many types of fire extinguishers. Most common one is Soda - acid fire exringuisher. In this fire extinguisher H2SO4 reacts with NaHCO3 and produces CO2 with settles over the fire and stopa O2 supply.

Working:- Fire exitinguisher work by removing heat from fire.

Function:- It realeses a cloud of carbon dioxide that smoothers the fire (In the heat of a fire). The gas drives oxygen away from the fire, thus stopping the gas reaction.
