hey...here is ur answer...

HCl is present in stomach....

function of HCl are.....

it's softens the food.....

it makes the food acidic for proper functioning of the pepsin....

it kills the germs and bacteria....

convert converts the active pepsinogen to pepsin and Pro renin to renin....

it stops the action of salivary amylase....
