WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF LIVE AND NEUTRAL WIRE.? PLEASE EXPLAIN IN SIMPLE TERMS.

Live wire is the wire which contains electric current. The current in this is kept at 220V . The neutral wire is the wire kept at 0 potential. The current in a household circuit flows from the live wire and goes back from the neutral wire.
