Hello!!Answer......

Neuroglia are cells in our nervous system that are not neurons...their role is to support team and cheerleaders for the neurons, form myelin which wraps around axons to speed up electric impulse conduction......

Answer:

neurons conduct imulse throughout the body there are 2 types of neurons acc to the myline sheath one which has a myline sheath conducts inpulse more quickly (present in CNS PNS).One which doesn't has a myline sheath conducts inpulse slowly(ANS) and based on the number of projections there are 5 type of neurones the first one apolar whose cell body doesn't has proper dendrites and axons but has some extensions such type of neurone is found in hydra second one is unipolar neurone which have only one Axon on but no dendron and are found in early embryo third one are bipolar neurones which have two processes one Axon and another dendron and are found in olfactory mucosa and retina of an eye third one is multipolar neurones which have many processes arising from cell body out of them one is longer acts as an Axon and the remaining as dendrons multipolar neurones are most common and found in brain and spinal cord the last one are pseudo unipolar neurones they are actually bipolar but appear like unipolar a single projection arises first which divides to from the dendrite and Axon Sach neurone is found in dorsal root ganglion of spinal cord that is the part which replies to reflex action neurones are are highly specialised cells which get excited a neurone has three parts cyton dendrites and Axon the dendrites are short branched processes arising from the site on the dendrite carries impulses towards the cell body the site on is the cell body and the Axon as a single long projection of the nerve cell which carries message away from the cell body towards another neurone neuroglial cell are specialised cells found in brain and spinal cord which support the neurones about more than 50% of brain cells are neuroglial cells these cells have different shapes and thought to separate and insulate adjacent neurones so that the impulse passes from one neurone to the next only over the synapse where the packing cells are missing there are two type of neuroglial cells 1 hour microglial and other microglial the macro glial cells are of three types astrocytes these cells are large in size they act as blood brain barrier second one hour oligodendrocytes they are which few protoplasmic processes and they form myline sheath around neurones of central nervous system the last one type of microglial cells are schwann cells schwann cells form myline sheath around the neurones of peripheral nervous system microglial cells are the smallest in size and the help in phagocytosis
