what is the function of nucleolus and where it is found

Nucleus is discovered by Robert Brown in plants. It is located in the centre of cell.

Function -
1. It controls all biological activities of cell. So it is called control room of cell.
2. It is responsible for cell division resulting increase in no of cell nd growth.
3. Hereditary material is present in nucleus. It is responsible for hereditary character of all organism.

the nucleolus makes ribosomal subunits from proteins and ribsomal RNA and also known as rRNA it then sends the subunits out to the rest of the cells where they combine into complete ribosomes ribosomes make proteins therefore nucleus plays important role in making proteins in the cell
