Ozone is a tri-atomic molecule of oxygen. Its molecular formula is O3.

Ozone is present in the second layer of atmosphere called stratosphere.

It doesn't allow the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun to enter into the atmosphere.

These rays harms plants and animals in number of ways. They can even kill.

These ultraviolet rays can cause skin cancer, mutations, etc.

So, ozone layer protects us from these deadly diseases.

Thanks to God :)
