Pseudopodia is otherwise called as false feet and it is the temporary projections of the cell wall. Some eukaryotic cells use Pseudopodia to move around and eat. The common example is Amoeba.
Functions:
• Locomotion: The cytoplasm flows and fills into the network fibers which are present in the cell wall. This enables them to move. The pseudopod extends from amoeba and the amoeba flows into that pseudopod and helps it to change the place.
• Phagocytosis. They are used to catch prey and eat from the environment
