Receptors are present in our all parts of the body for example in skin, eye, nose tongue etc. They detect the signals and then send them to brain in the form of electrical signals.

♠Hola!♠

  • Receptors or sense organs are groups of highly specialized cells which receive the stimuli. Each receptor is specialized to receive a specific stimulus and change it into appropriate nerve impulse.

  • When receptors fail to function properly, the body functions will be disturbed and may be health-hazard or fatal.

Hope it helps!!
