**Renin's primary function is to eventually cause an increase in blood pressure, leading to restoration of perfusion pressure in kidneys. Renin is secreted from juxtaglomerular kidney cells, which sense changes in renal perfusion pressure ,via stretch receptors in the vascular walls....
