The sphincter muscles act as a valve to control the flow of partially digested food from stomach to the small intestine.
That's all.

The pyloric sphincter is a band of smooth muscle at the function between the pyloric of the stomach and the duodenum of the small intestine. It play an important role in digestion, where it acts as a valve to control the flow of partially digestive food from the stomach to the small intestine
