Explanation:

Synaptic knobs- the round endings of the axon. neurotransmitter (e.g. acetylcholine, norepinephrine, dopamine), located in the synaptic knobs. Synaptic cleft- a gap between the two neurons in the synapse. nerve impulse to the second neuron ( postsynaptic neuron).
