Glomerulus is nothing but a bunch of capillaries which have small pores with in itself surrounded by the bowman's capsule. It's function is to filter the blood from other waste components and poisonous elements like some salts llike ammonia, by sending those wastage as filterate to the ureter and out of the body in the form of urine. here, small pores which contain within itself helps in separating those substances from blood.
